Add IP address to SPF records

When working with SPF records, you may need to add additional IP addresses to allow mail delivery. These will be specific IP addresses or blocks that you authorize to send emails on our behalf. Servers that verify will not stop any IP addresses or blocks in the SPF record as a "spoofing" server.

Basically adding an IP address to the SPF record, serves to indicate which servers are the only ones authorized to send from your domain.

The steps to follow are detailed below:

  1. Enter cPanel.

  2. Select the "Email Authentication" option.

  3. Choose the option "Additional Ip blocks for your domains" (IP4).

  4. Adding the IP address that you want to be recognized by your domain, this is achieved by pressing the "Add" button.

  5. Update the registry. Press the "Update" button.
