Antispam System Operation

All our Shared Hosting servers (cPanel Reseller Plans and End Users) are now equipped with a powerful Anti-Spam filter powered by ASSP®. The level of filtering can be configured by the client from the cPanel control panel, Email section in the ASSP AntiSpam option.
Sabemos lo importante que un correo electrónico puede ser para usted, por esta razón este sistema mantiene y le informa del correo que ha sido bloqueado de forma que usted puede detectar cualquier falso positivo y nunca pierda ningún correo importante.

Here are some basic functions to use your Anti-Spam system:

IMPORTANT NOTE: For the purposes of this manual we will use the domain example.com as an example. You must replace this domain with your own domain.

How to get the list of blocked mails:

From your email account (hosted on the same domain) send a blank email to "asspblock@example.com" and you will receive back an email with the list of emails blocked in the last 5 days.

My block list contains some false positives:

In some cases the antispam system can mistake legitimate email as SPAM, just click on the email icon next to the email you want to retrieve, this will send a request to the server to retrieve this email and additionally add the sender to your whitelist, in this way the following emails from this sender will not be blocked.

I have received a spam email, how do I report it ?:

Reporting spam is very easy, just forward the email to "assp-spam@example.com"

How to whitelist emails:

The system automatically adds the recipients of your emails to the white list, that is, if you send an email to recipient@xxxxx.xxx this address will automatically be included in your white list, additionally you can add the addresses of your senders simply by sending a Mail to assp-white@example.com, in the body of the message include the address or addresses you want to add (one per line).

I have received an email labeled as probable spam, but it is not:

You can forward it to assp-notspam@example.com in this way you will be helping to "train" the antispam filter, as time passes, the filter "learns" and you will receive less and less these types of errors.

How do I set my spam filter preferences:

In your panel cPanel -> Mail -> SPAM ASSP you will find the ASSP user interface.
