A "403" error is a response code that appears when the requested action cannot be completed for security reasons.

The display of this error can be one of the following reasons:

-If there is no index file (.htm, .html, .php) within the public_html directory, or if the file exists but contains capital letters in the name, this file must NOT contain uppercase characters.

- That the permissions of the index file or of the folder where it tries to enter are not correct, for the index file, read and write permissions must be placed for the owner and read only for the group and others; As for the folder, it must have read, write and execute permissions for the owner and, read and execute for the group and others.

To modify the permissions of your files and directories you must use any FTP client program.
