To keep email accounts optimized we recommend deleting the oldest content. Up to 4 weeks is an acceptable time that does not degrade the use of the server disks. If you want to keep your emails longer, we recommend setting up a local client like Outlook and keeping them locally on the PC. For this it is important that you configure it as POP and not as IMAP.
We are going to explain step by step how to delete the oldest emails on the server of each of your accounts:

Enter the account's cPanel.

Go to Email >> Email Disk Usage.

When entering the account by mail select by default is the default. In it, unrouted emails sent to your domain are stored and it is usually the cause that the INODES assigned to your hosting account are exhausted.

In the last Actions column we can click there to select the criteria that I am going to choose to delete the content in those folders.

Several options appear:

More than a year.
-
More than 30 MB of space.

Emails already displayed.

All messages.

Personalized criteria. This is what we are going to select since we want to delete emails that are more than 4 weeks old.

We are going to write in the field "SENTBEFORE 4week" or "SAVEDBEFORE 4week" and then click on "Delete Permanently".

We wait for the action to be completed and a sale will appear indicating that the action was executed successfully.

Then I can select another email account that I want to optimize and repeat the same actions.
